wow o.o. I was thinking of getting a video camera for streaming on ustream.tv and then i saw this topic .

I personally don't do photography at all, and am very inexperienced at taking pictures, but that looks like a nice camera.

Im not suprised; I'm just taken aback by how much this is going to end up costing! How much is a lens? what, £50 for a good one?

Lol, I'm not in with the camera world but I think at some point I wouldnt pay much more my friend got a camera, a fucking beast of one for about £120. Although, it was more for camera experience but it is 10MP and he's got a fantastic picture of a robin sat on a wall. I'll upload it if I find it somewhere on my PC.

pixels = minor aspect of a good camera. A large image sensor e.t.c is more important. A 6mp image from a good DSLR will own any 10mp from a compact.

Yes I do agree. However, the quality of his pictures...theyre just unbelievable for the price he bought it.

It means nothing to be honest.

Anyways, lenses generally costs around £400 - £2000 each depending on what you want to do.

I'll be looking at a fish eye lens, wide angle and general purpose mid range.

A good fish eye is about £350

Fish eye lenses are great for taking pictures of cats. But yeah, I'd NEVER spend that much money on a camera .

I'm not an expert photographer, but I like taking good photos from time to time.
