ok well im only 16 and i buying a labtop with a nvida 512 mb v card and im spending only 800 for it cuz i got 440$ off. my dad orks with pcs so he is also helping me out but when i order it ill add everyone on cfire. min is rossida. for xfire

ooo dont do laptop youre really shooting yourself in the foot there especially if you want to upgrade later on it will be expensive

well this is also for college in a year so i need 1 for that and this is what im getting. Its got better specs than alot that ive seen. i cant get a desktop cuz im not able to bring it to college. i have made sure that it will run cod5 and 4 basically to maxed settings. i also got it to be able to run cyrsis xD so the computer isnt that bad. but that is why i need to buy a laptop.

well i would get a desktop. but then in a year i will have to make another 1000-1600$ again for a laptop for school. so the best i can do is buy a new laptop.

im not buying a dell. to expensive and cheaply built. well thats what i think. the desktop im using now is a dell and i absolutley hate it. no offense but it sucks especially for gaming

Dell's cooling has been poor for a long time and they are overpriced. Plus, their machines are crap for gaming. The reason I said don't go for a Dell is because something like an Asus or HP would be much better suited towards gaming

I know a friend who bought a gaming laptop, its got dual 9800GTX or something in it. Cost him £1600 though, but he works for crytek

Laptops are K for gaming IMO, but i would still choose a desktop. Thing is, with what you pay for a laptop for the same price you can get much better performance, alternatively you can get the same performance for much less.
