Need help from Atze

Hi.. Long time ago, you put some properties or settings from Sony vegas, beacuse rendered videos were so big... And i cant find it here... Pls help. My videos from Sony Vegas which dont have even 30 sec are 1gb. Thanks for answer

but now things have changed... youtube is using 16:9 format for all videos now..
so i dont think 800x600 is best anymore...
i havent tried it yet but i think its best to render with 1280x720 (16:9) and do the rest like i explained in the topic above

edit: u also need to record ingame with 16:9

hey i was planning to do what you said and render my video at 1280x720, though now i don't know if that's such a terrific idea because it might take a really long time to load for a viewer when watching it on YouTube.

so what do you suggest?
should i go for the extreme wide screen high definition?
i don't know what to do

okay, thank you ....

but even if i was going to forget all those people with the slow video loading times, when i render the video at that high resolution and upload it to YouTube, no matter what i do i simply cannot get it to look as it did in Sony Vegas or just in the video file i have on my computer.

btw i'm using the x264vfw, H.264/MPEG-4 AVC codec --- for an .avi file

Can some1 tell me how you can use devmap while demo's?
Cause make a new demo after every fail so my demo's are like 10sec each and dont have time to type all those commands in like /devmap(should work in time) but then /exec enable_art.cfg and all the rest wont work ^^
How do i enable this all in demo's?

Open game, type /devmap mp_anymap - then leave the game.

Then just play the demos normally.
