Well i have a Pentium 4, 3.2GHz, 1Gig ram. I did a system check for call of duty 2 on this page: http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/referrer/srtest and it complained about my Video Card.
And i get mostly about 100 fps (70-125) on original maps, thats why i want to upgrade my pc.

I assume u got a PCIe x16 slot on ur motherboard?
Anyway, I think its not nessecary to buy an 8800 yet. I think ur better off buying a cheaper graphics card and add a gyg of ram.
Im dont know too much about PC's and stuff, but im doing a lot of research lately because were gonna buy a new pc aswell. But maybe someone else can back up my thoughts about the card.
