How to edit iwd. files?

Subject of the topic tells everything.. but im interested to create iwd files since cod2 has a bug when having many map/mod iwd files.. so id like to create one big iwd which includes all thoose maps/mods which i have.. ive heard it works.. so can anyone tell me how to do it.. do i need some program or something?

Just put all the .d3dbsp files (maps) into the /maps/mp/ folder. For all the other modification files, just put them in the right directory. all ui_mp files into the /ui_mp/ folder and so on.

If you do this, you will have to download the same maps twice, as the server will have a different iwd to you.

If you ARE the server owner, then other willhave to download a HUGE map pack.

Well thx.. ive realised that the iw_15.iwd includes that thing which kills u when u jump in illegal places.. id like to remove that part from the iwd file.. first i removed whole file but then i realised i cant play harbor etc

i became to yor fan about week ago when i found ur site but sadly i cannot jump in all those places because of that thing which kills me

Do not modify the original files!!!!

If you are unsure on how to create a mod, ask and we shall help.
As for stopping the "hurt triggers", check our mods downlload section, its already been made (even if it was made in the longest possible way

)
