Jm_coridor fixed?!?

i just found a jump map called jm_coridor and in the level shot it says fixed by malloc.. but he only changed 2 things 1 thing was wrong to change.. the secret jump he made the jump from long to short but still has the little bit round the side and stuff with ruins that part. and fixed one thing which i never got round to doing the ladder where u cant climb up it that easily but he added a blinding light but i dont no how he made it i dont think i included a .map in with the pk3? doesnt anyone no.. i sent the .map to pedsdude to prove i made it.. he didnt no i made it so if anyone knows

1. Who is Malloc?
2. How does he have your map file?
3. Where did you find the "fixed" version?

tell mes when I cheked jm_corridor it had included the bak files. bak files are map files that are automatically made by radiant (for BAcKup),

I am guessing this is how he got the map file.

oh ok.. i defantly wont include that in my next map i thought it was something to do with the map files

i dont no who he is but i found by just looking down my "start a new server" list and found it i dont no how i got it.

I found it in a jump compilation mod a jpeg screen shot with it in filed called : zzzz_jump_pak1.pk3 shall i send the jpg to u aswell?

nah, dont bother sending, its just another case of map theft imo.

not much you can do without knowing who it is (and even then, there nothing you can do

malloc is an admin on one of the RHK servers, and hes a member of this forum. i remember playing that so called "fixed" version with the cheesy song in the background? and yeah the .bak files are the same as .map but with different extentions.

If you know him, then he needs to be told to ask permission before editing the files which he doesnt own.

maLLoc is a german ...... he is in the clan .:RHK* and he scripts since 20 years

i dont know how he got the .map file
but i know he almost got all .map files ^^ he just fixed a ladderbug ! ( just a bug if you use /devmap)and he put a quiet music in the map ! ! !
