I have a 9600 and i only get 125 when i look down on lowest settings 800x600...Luke wrote:well i got a radeon 9600 and i get 125 90% of the time(res 1024 x 768 and highest settings)..so u might struggle with a 9200, depending on what settings u have tho, resolution and other graphics settings too, like murphy said try it out..

DON'T
Like I said before, anything below 5900 is not worth getting. The cards made before the 5900 were made really badly and are pretty shit tbh. If you add a little bit more to your budget, you can get a 5900 or above and be able to get 333

No actually your wrong fx 5500 is not a P of S . I have it and im able to hold 125 constantly and if i look at a wall I can get 333, and my res is 1024 x 768 and my settings are all on Extra , blood on and etc . And even on Half Life 2 I can get 100- fps with all settings on high with 1024 x 768 res. But i have a good comp
Specs are :
64 bit 3400+ amd
1 gig of ram
250 gigs of hard drive
With the fx 5500 256 mb card
So really my comp is good enough to make a 5200 get 125 fps .
