cod2 binds dont work

well as u see the subject of the topic thats my problem...

i bind something using

/bind i say hea^1DS^7hot

and then i pressed " i " button and nothing happens...

i checked the cfg and thats in my cfg:

bind i "say hea^1DS^7hot"


if any1 know whats the problem please share it here ^^

Try uppercase i? i.e.:

bind I "say hea^1DS^7hot"

If that doesn't work, try:

bind I "say \"hea^1DS^7hot\""

Are you joining a modded server?

Join the server first and then type the bind.
