Fix that pls on CodJumper mod!

Hey all ! i want to know if its possible that u guys from CodJumper could fix that: If u load a position u slide like 2 or 3 sec to the left or to the right .. i know its for loadbounce but fix it pls somehow .. its sometimes annyoing

I don't think it is because of load bounce, in fact I don't think it is intentional but is a side effect of the way in which the user loads....you'll need Drofder to confirm this.

Yeah because on older versions of the mod (where you can loadbounce) it still has that slow run effect just after you load position.

The bigger the drop, the worse the control you have.

imo they need to fix the mod back so load bouncing is allowed. It doesn't kill anyone, and after all, the whole point of the servers is to jump/glitch.

It's a bug which came with the actual mod. It's not part of standard gameplay.

Ya know, you're just kind of acting like a smaller version of Activision. No offense. If you've been to the servers that don't allow load bouncing anymore, you would've seen a number of people complaining. I just think there's nothing wrong with it. It's not like you have thousands of people saying, "What is this? A load bounce? These worthless scum! This mod sucks!" No, they say, "Hey that's cool, how do I do that?" It's easy to teach people. And plenty of people use it to have fun. They're not going around causing problems with it. It's all about having fun.

That's odd, I go into our #1 CoD4 server (which could quite possibly be the most popular jump server out there) about 4 or 5 times a week for 30 minutes or more and I have not once seen anyone complaining about the lack of load bouncing. Sure, it is "cool", but it isn't the intent of the community.

You're missing the point. The mod was made so that people have an easier time trying out new spots on maps which can then be used for normal gameplay. If the mod is required to do a certain glitch, then it's not useful without the mod. While you're at it, why not just run every map in devmap so everyone has noclip and can reach any spot they want. It's just not the purpose of the mod.

Nobody pays us for the mod, there are no donation links or paid subscriber features, the only features are the core features, which are simply there to make the life of a jumper easier (not the jumps, the jumps are still stock), we then have the server features, which are there to make the servers more fun to play on, we then further the features of admin control.

Notice how there are NO features which introduce a "make jumping easier to do" style? I have been sent requests which I have thought of introducing: save sharing, teleport, player grabbing and now load bouncing. These affect gameplay and I have no intention of introducing it in the official mod. There are a few gimmick/fake/stolen mods, try ask their authors...

But, I havent taken the fun out of the mod, I have simply fixed it.
