The maps don't show in the start new server option (think there is a limit for that) but don't worry they are there. You can select them in your maprotation or they can be voted. They show up in your "rcon;dir maps" probably.

I think the maps are missing an arena file (this file shows your map in that list)

That is correct.

Here is a list of maps that do not have arena files.

cj_hallwayofdoom
dawnjump
easyrun
greenjump
illjump
jm_infiniti
jm_titan
pyro_jump_new
waterhouse
zaithouse
zaitjump
zaittower
zaitwater
zaitway

None of those maps will be shown in "Start New Server" list.

Hmm, without a arena file the map does not get given a name. So im not sure if it would work. Someone try?

How does it works with Tribute then ? You have to type the name in console to load the map, but you don't see the map in any gametypes list along with the other maps. Does that also mean that the ARENA file is missing ? If so, it's no problem and it should work...

Yep, I've never tested it personally.

Makes sense that they work otherwise how would you test a map in progress with just the bsp file :)

You don't need an arena file to play a map ;) I only bother putting an arena file with my maps once I have completely finished them, so that when I want to test it I don't have to keep creating arena files :P
