[CoD2] mp_kryptest

Post by Kryptonic » December 23rd, 2008, 7:15 pm

Although my map isn't finished since Rifle, who wanted to make the secord part of it, didn't manage to do it for 8-9 months now, and Scrappy, who wanted to make to bonus, has been offline for about half a year now, I desided to release it as a beta now.

The main point in my part of the map was hard and some new jumps, I tried not to repeat one single jump. There are not much people who could do the whole map so far, just KJX, Cheesy and me I think. I can assure that every jump is possible, although you might not know how to do it first :)

Please keep in mind that this version is not considered to be the final one :/

Kryp

EDIT: If there are questions about a certain jump, just add me on xfire or ask me here, I'm sure gonna help you with a demo or on a server, if you have one.

Nice map, hard doesn't really defines it...but possible...only question remaining: Can it be done without nades, and more importantly, with only 125 fps?
I really hope there'll be a finished version "soon" :)
And I see now why you said my map wasn't that hard xD

Ty for the positive feedback :)

When I say a map can be done, I mean without nades and with 125fps everywhere 8)
I hope the same thing ^^

I noticed that the Downloadlink didn't work. It's fixed now I hope (otherwise I've no idea why it doesn't work, add me on xfire I'm gonna send you the working version then).

Is there nobody interested in testing my map? :S
I'd like to know how others think about this kind of (bounce-) jumps and wether it was too hard or not.

Gonna test it now. :D

Well, I tested it and I think it's a solid first attempt. I don't like killtriggers(there weren't many of them but still) especially at the hard jumps. Some bounces are near-impossible and I loved the teleport idea(having to navigate in mid-air :D).

Next time, try to have some theme, not just random brushes and textures to make up jumps.
