Can't make it

I'm new on this side and a beginner with jumping/glitching. I saw this vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pn0djWyxnSc
I tried but I can't make it. If I'm going to stand lower on the roof I can hit the car and bounce. But then I can't make it to the top of the building. Does anyone know how he has done that jump? With 333fps or something? And the beginning of Crossfire_nadejump_3, the rpg jump from the balcony, i just can't reatch it.
I play with 125fps all setings on high. Is there a way to check if I preform the prg/strafe jump right?

I hope anyone can help because there are a few jumps I just can't do

If you start from lower on the roof, bounce, then shoot RPG u go quite alot higher. (for the pipeline one i mean)

Not 333 fps, in the vid it looks like 125.

It's a 125 FPS jump. If you start lower you simply won't make the bounce. You need to start from the top, and if you can't reach the car you got to practise your strafing more.

Crossfire_nadejump_3 is a more advanced RPG jump. It's 333 FPS. It's quite hard. To be able to do that you need to be good at RPG strafing.

To practise strafing just go to our second server (Gap Training Map): 77.74.196.206:28960

I have downloaded the map you said. But when I want to start it, it doesn't stand in my CoD4 map list. En when I try to launch it with use of the console it doesn't work either.
The discription says:

1. Click on a map name to download the .zip / .rar file.
2. Place the map folder in your 'Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\usermaps' directory.
3. Load CoD4MP, click Start New Server, select the map, start game.
4. Alternatively, load CoD4MP, open console, type '/map <mapname>' (where is the name of the map, e.g. mp_jump)

3. I placed the file in: E:\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\usermaps
4. The map isn't in the map list.
5. I tried several things but it didn' work. Like: "/map <mp_gap_training>" & "/map mp_gap_training" and with the file extension at the end (iwd/ff) but I can't get the map running.

Does anyone know the prblem?

Just download it when you're connecting to server #2. That way it downloads everything to the right folder.

I normally devmap when I jump alone but on map training it's not really needed.

I can't connect to the servers. And i placed the files just in E:\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\usermaps and I alos tryd to place the files in a map callend mp_gap_training but it doesn't matter. Am I doing something wrong?

The other dowdnloaded maps i also cant see or start. And if i place the downloaded map at the other standard maps and i wanna start it cod4 jams.

btw, it's pretty standard that most maps won't show in the map list, you mostly gotta access them through console.

Gametype MUST be set to deathmatch / free for all for that map / the cj mod to work. Try the following:

Inside usermaps - create a folder called "mp_gap_training" inside this folder put the .ff and .iwd files. Open the game. Select mods, load the CoDJumper mod. Type /set g_gametype dm in console followed by /devmap mp_gap_training. The map should now load fine.

I placed the files in the map like you told me to. I started CoD4, launched the mod (I have downloaded the newest one a few seconds ago and I renamed it to JumpMod2), started a new server in ffa mode. I opend the console and typed : "/devmap mp_gap_training" it looks like the map is going to load but then CoD4 jams. I can only suggest you have something installed wrong, delete everything you have and start again - use the following files:

You only mean the mods i hope or all cod4?

The problem lies most likely with the mod or the map. Delete the CJ mod and the custom map, then download both again.

It works fine now. Only at the link I've got there are differend files then in the files in the zip folden at the cod4 jump maps area. Maybe check it??

Edit: OMG.... I put a time limid on of 10 minutes, at the 250 units jump a made it to number 4.... in 10 minutes :S
