Currently, we have separate ban.txt files for each of our CoD4 servers. This means that every so often, I have to go through all 6 of our ban lists and make sure that they're all exactly the same, and that I add missing bans to the relevant ban lists, so that ALL the ban lists have ALL the bans inside them.
This, as you can imagine, is a pain in the arse.
Is it possible to have 1 ban list hosted on the CoDJumper website which is read by all the servers, or do we have to continue with the method we're currently using? As well as this, would it be possible to have it so that when someone gets banned from one of the servers, it automatically adds it to the list? (I'm assuming this is much less likely considering the access required to edit the file).
If the above is possible, then what I would imagine is that the server reads off 2 ban lists - the external one and the one of the actual server. This would be useful as it means once we have added internal bans to the external ban list, the internal ban list will be clean and i'll be easy to see who has been banned recently and therefore needs adding to the external ban list.
I hope all of the above makes sense to anyone who can shed any light on the matter
