Fastforwarding demos ?

is there any way to fastforward demos ? because if i want to record a jump , and it takes me like 20 minutes to get it, ive got to wait 20 min to record it afterwards with fraps or whatever.

I think you can do timescale command in console

Code: Select all

/timescale "any number"
(no quotes)
1 is normal, .5 is half speed, 2 is double speed, 10 is 10 times normal speed, .1 is 1/10 speed, etc. Just bind it to some keys on your numpad or something. In fact, I think that is how seismovision's fast foward commands for CoD work.

you can also fastforward demos with CoD4player, and other stuff.

Yeah but i dont think Cod4 Demo player works with Vista.( well i cant get it working anyway )

It works fine on Vista for me
