Running on Wireless Router on COD4

Post by steveuk » December 28th, 2007, 9:39 pm

Ok just brough a new Router a wireless one, still nothink wrong with the olf Wired one, just that kids now have a new PC and we decided to have Wireless instead of Wired..

Question is, when doing port forwarding for COD4 servers, i notice all Ports for cod1,2,& 4 are 28960 My router only had Call of Duty in the router settings, when i forward that to my 192.168.1.xxx , will COD2 & 4 work as servers ok,> I did set up a server quickly today and got a friend to connect to it, which he did sucessfully, so is my COD4 going tho the COD1 Port Forwarding settings, as it only has 1 setting, on my old Wired Router, it had to have 4 port settings.

Router i have is a Zyxel Wireless Cable Router Model NBG334W UK01 Cheap little wireless router from PC world for just £29:99 was £49:99 but in sale.. comes with Free Wireless USB Adaptor to.

Detail of router here.

Will be the same as CoD1 to set up :)
ok cheers, do you know the link of the thread regarding ping.. i think my ping is higher than my wired router was, was like 50-60 on wired, now 80-100 on wireless.?
