Which port/s does CoD4 use?

A friend of mine recently contacted the IT support at my university asking about the ridiculously high pings we have during most of the day, and received the following response:

I’ve been told to let you know that many online games require that you do some tweaking before they can work. In this instance they think they might be able to accommodate the requirements of your game(s) but would need you to send more information, as follows:

The name of the game (1. Counter-Strike, 2. Call of Duty 4 ??)
The domain name and IP address of the server you are connecting to
The ports the game uses
Any other information that might be useful

Now, obviously the name of the game is easy to say, but what port/s does it use? Is it just 28960, or are there more? Bare in mind I'm talking about playing the game, not hosting it.

Clearly the bit about the 'domain name and IP address of the server you are connecting to' is a bit of a dodgy area, because I don't want to be able to only play in one server, but hopefully they can figure that out.

It appears the problem has been solved! Pings are fine now, will keep checking up on them!
