Hi all. got a problem here

After using the new Mod with nade and Save position. i noticed that my rank had changed..lol well kinda
when playing the game i have a Captians icon, but when game finished it says im still a commander.
I have lucky backed up my rank and just over wrote it's folder, im now back with my 5 *s.. commander.loseing just a few hours game play.

Now im not saying it;s the MODs fault, but has anyone else had this error after using the mod as thats all ive used on COD4..

Patch 1.2 has allready been released too.. That patch also fixes this problem.

Thanks i did already use patch 1.1 but that didnt seem to do nothink for me..lol i downlaoded the patch 1.2 but not installed it yet as i have a server running with 8 people playing ,so when i go to do a reboot i will then install it.

there are 2 different ranks.

Ranked ranks and Unranked ranks. Confused yet?

Most servers out there are RANKED, this means they follow the rules set by Infinity Ward and have NO MODS.
Servers that are modded (including using the CJ mod locally) are UNRANKED servers.

You are required to rank both of these separately...

You have not lost your rank, you just havent gained an UNRANKED rank.

Isn't there an icon in the in-game CoD4 browser showing if a server is ranked ?

They need to add one for Hardcore Mode too.
