Seen that YouTube video before. It's blatently obvious they copy bits from The Simpsons, but they do it to take the piss mainly.

I wouldn't have said this a few months ago, but I've gotten into Family Guy a lot recently and think it's one of the best TV programs of all time. I'm also glad that I still have 2 seasons of Family Guy which I haven't seen; most of The Simpsons I've already seen and even though they're probably making new episodes, they always seem to show old ones on TV, so I got bored of them AGES ago (just like Malcolm In The Middle, I haven't seen new episodes of that for ages, unfortunately).

The Simpsons is funny, but Family Guy is hilarious. There aren't moments in The Simpsons where I'm actually in pain from laughing, whereas the opposite happens in almost every Family Guy episode.

Family Guy > Simpsons

Seth and Matt are good mates and all Cartoons steal jokes from each other. The joke when Peter has the beard in the cinema...they didnt even show the punchline of that scene.

Family Guy is pro.

I don't think we have Family Guy in The Netherlands. But iirc I seen some clips from it (And isn't there a movie about it too?).

Anyway, if I watch these clips and simply judge without thinking I'd say yes.

Although I personaly don't enjoy The Simpsons a lot, it has its funny moments but most of the time it's just boring.

Southpark beats it. Most of the time it stays funny and it's been well made. Southpark ftw.

I agree that south park is a lot better, it has a lot higher level of humor. I kinda find the Simpsons boring but Family Guy is pretty funny.

Leviathan how can you not like Family Guy if you like American Dad? They are practically the same...they are even made by the same person

Family Guy hasn't got a Alien names Roger and a fish with an german character and I just prefer it even it is made by the same person

South Park = Family Guy in humor imo. It's a different kind fo humor but it's still funny as hell!

Everyone steals from each other. Simple as that. Only Family Guy can produce some of the most hilarious jokes, and due to its more "adult nature", it will appeal more to the older (anyone around 16+ basically) than the simpsons.

Family Guy is not at all styled like a british comedy ;/ It's not even American imo. American is more exagerated, situational comedy which family guy isnt.

All his ideas have been done by simpson, so it drives him mad.. and in the end sheff says: that doesnt matter, simpsons have been doing shows for over 13 years, they did EVERYTHING, its not shame to copy them.
