If you live in the UK then you can phone 'Shazam' on 2580 (using your mobile), play music to the speaker for 20 secs (or so), then if they find the song (it automatically searches through their database of hundreds of thousands of songs) you'll receive a text (costing 50p) with the song name and artist - quite useful if you can't find a song name

It's annoying on youtube when people comment saying "what song is that?" all they have to do is get a line from the song (lyrics) and put it into google o.O

That shazam thing sounds cool, i'll have to use that sometime

It wasn't directed at you, it was just a general comment

Cascada are good, borderline too charvy, but I like them nonetheless! Have you heard their version of Truly Madly Deeply? Everytime We Touch and Miracle are good too.

Peds, please don't talk about Cascada, all the songs have the same background beat, and it just gets so old and annoying after hearing those songs so many times over and over and over again.

Yeah, I'm addicted to that too! Got the Put Your Hands Up Vol 2 album a month or so ago and listened to all of them for so long. Currently the following dance songs are doing it for me:

The Chemical Brothers - Do It Again (Extended Mix)
Groove Armada - Get Down (Calvin Harris Mix)
Calvin Harris - The Girls
Krafty Kuts - Tricka Technology
Erick E - The Beat Is Rocking

Eye of the tiger remix by DMX and Ice cube is awesome.
Techno - Dance Club Remixes - House Mix 2006 - i've never heard it played in a club but it's great.
Do you like Eminem? I think he's actually a genius in his own right. I like most of his stuff.

I don't know that many good dance songs though as i'm more into speed/death/grunge metal lol.

Bloc Party are teh win...but weekend in the city sucks ;(

What would you recommend? I need to make a dance music CD for my mates car. Though normally we'll drive through the town centre with "Witchdoctor" by the Cartoons playing at full volume.
