Website problem

Post by Pedsdude » November 3rd, 2006, 11:18 pm

I'm designing a website and have come across a problem which is really pissing me off:

Image

It wouldn't be so bad if it didnt bloody well happen only half the time, sometimes it's fine and there is a line there, other times there isn't a line there, and I can't seem to work out why it's happening and consequently have been unable to fix it.

http://www.codjumper.com/psv/index.php

It usually happens when you click on Home and then another link and the Home again. I would presume this is due to the fact that Home is on a different page (index.php) to the other links (pages.php), so maybe that's got something to do with it?

Anyone who has any ideas please let me know, as it's really annoying me ;)

Hmm I dont seem to have this problem. :?
That's why my brother's computer doesn't need anti-virus software; 450MHz P3 doesn't meet virus's system requirements.

First of all: Bleh at PSV

Second: It works fine for me. Been clicking all links but nothing changed, so I guess it's just you somehow.

Looks good though Peds!

Tried it again with Firefox, clicking all links but still, I had no problems. That vertical line is there, it always shows up on my screen.

I just downloaded a couple pages to my desktop, try changing the

Code: Select all

<table width="100%"  border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="smalltable">
to

Code: Select all

<table width="145"  border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="smalltable">
Seems kind of pointless but I have the "links" page and the index, I changed the code on the index and it will not shift a pixel anymore, but I left the links page alone and it messes up everytime
