OK, so peds_pylon didn't work out, despite the fact that I was very depressed I made the mistake (you could see it as a mistake ;)) of starting a new map.

I have started work on peds_parkour - a nighttime map in a residential area, where you jump from roof to roof of houses. I have made the first area, and I have to say it is looking pretty damn good - I'll get some screenshots soon to show you all ;)

Who would like to beta test it? Please let me know if you are interested.

A question for Drofder: How do you create a light glare, like the ones on the lamps in jm_clampdown?

id like to beta test, but only as long as none of the jumps are bigger than 250 :P

Right-click and look somewhere for "corona". Never used it before, but I have read that is what is done.

So far all the jumps are under 240 (I've only done 2 jumps so far ;)). If you want a version of it then message me on xfire or msn and I'll be happy to send you a .pk3.

From the SS it looks nice, I was expecting some "higher" things, like on top of buildings and stuff, that would be fun :P

Hmm, it is on top of buildings ;) I said it was in a residential area! lol

Maybe I'll have an urban section too - like you finish the residential section then get teleported to the urban section? Although that may take quite a long time to make.

no no wait, great idea!!! After jumping around on houses get in a window of a tower where you can jump around in and get to the top, then jump from tower to tower there! or you could use an elevator after you jump in the room, if you want I can make you one :)

lol,add a fun room where its like all colourful and hard to see some jumps.......and make them pretty hard.... like 250 or somethin :P

Hmm, I'm trying to make it a serious, realistic map rather than the good old unrealistic days of peds_puzzle ;)

perhaps some telephone poles with unclipped wires so you have to jump from pole to pole?...
