Create a TRIG brush where you want to have it,

Now, click the right mouse butten with the brush selected and go to trigger/hurt

Indeed, it doesn't quite have enough to it to be added as a sticky in my opinion.

this is easier, without a script.

Damage rate is just changing the entities though isn't it?

Quick Tut is all that is needed.

1. Make a brush with texture "common/trigger".
2. Right click on 2d window and select trigger<hurt
3. Press n to bring up the entity window.
4. Add the amount of damage a "frame" you want using...
Key: dmg
Value: <number>
If you want the person to receive slow damage (damage every second instead of a frame) click "Slow" in the entity window.

If people want a full trigger tutorial ask, and I will make 1, but imo, the most useful triggers are easy to use (trigger<damage is the hardest to use, but very useful).
