Wallspeed = Jumpcheat??

Post by aicaramba » January 6th, 2006, 2:12 pm

I think u all know wallspeed, where u walk against a wall at a specific angle holding strafe, making u go faster...

My personal strafejump record is 255, which i only managed to make 2 times when strafejumping normal..
But a few days ago I was in Son-of-bitch and tried making the 255 with wallspeed and I managed to make it 4 times in 15 minutes. :)

Here is a little demo of a wallspeed strafejump:
http://rapidshare.de/files/10507432/wallspeed.dm_2.html

I think I might be abled to do 256 or bigger with it, but i didnt really try much!

Now some say using wallspeed with jumping is the same as cheating.
I'd say its just another glitch in the game same as strafejumping, and there is nothing wrong it!

But I just want to know how you guys feel about it...

Luke could go for 261 or 262 or w/e using wallspeed 125fps strafejump :lol: hehe

I always strafe the walls to get to places faster... :o and ya its just another numerous glitch in CoD :D Like the bolt-action rifle glitch that you can fire off all the bullets twice as fast as it would be when your not glitching heh :o

I didn't find it made me jump further, the only time i'd find it useful is if there wasn't much room to move on either side

I have nothing against wallspeed, in fact I think it's great :) Although when you say your record is 259, but you really use wallspeed, it's a bit misleading.

It might be a misleading, but on the other hand... Every one can use it, its not like only I can use it!

Yeah I know, but if you were to tell someone that your record jump is such and such, it doesn't really count if you used wallspeed, because everyone's would add on a few points if that was the case.
