What's a normal gap. I usally get a 310. Is average 310?

Depends what difficulty you want your map. If you make it too hard, most people in the server won't be able to complete it and won't get the full enjoyment from it. If you make it too easy, the more experienced jumpers will say it's too easy. I would suggest starting it quite easy and get progressively harder as the map goes on.
Everyone's gonna probably give you slightly different figures, but these are the values I would say:
1.Is 310 normal advanced or bad
Advanced (most people playing in a server can't do this distance), but not 'Expert'.
2.What's bad
<285
3.What's OK
285-300
4.What's good
300-315
5.What's excellent
315+

Well, imo 310 is a good strafe.. i can get only 306/307

310 is a good strafe. my highest is 314
for a map though i only enjoy strafes which are between 290-305, any harder and it make take a while to make the gap and lower doesnt even feel like a strafe.
