[CoD4] mp_jm_sewer

mp_jm_sewer's features:
Strafe jumps
RPG strafes
Bounces
6 secret triggers throughout the map that will gain you entrance to the bonus room
Bonus room
Teleports

This is my first map so it might not be the greatest but i did my best

Special Thanks goes out to _DanTheMan_ for helping me with Scripts and the load-screen

Another Special Thanks to -Xo- Buzzard for help with scripting

Special notes (there is a bounce at the end of the first room that is tricky but it IS do able)

Nice amount of CoD4 maps being made. Keep them coming!

I've also changed your topic title to represent CoD4, even though everybody figures it out by reading the first couple of lines :roll:

From screens map looks pretty nice, although I dont like floating platforms pretty much, makes map not realistic.

Ahhh last bounce in the main room appears to be a bit of a problem, i'm not sure if this is only for old school. If you are having problems with that bounce or anything let me know, I just don't want major blockage on server.

Not sure which bounce youre talking about, just tried and finished the map without any problems, the last one in main room where you bounce on a ladder? If so, it isn't a problem, 125 is enough for that(you've got to hit the top of the bounce).
It's a nice map, I like it, besides 1 thing, that room with those 1,2,3, that colorful one, it kinda hurts my eyes :X. The map itself is quite easy,would be nice if you could include at least 1 long rpg, something like 370 units at least, but still, as this is your first map really nice well done.

BTW: Where's the bonus room? I nocliped the map after I finished it but still couldn't find it

I'm pretty sure you couldn't see Soviet his hidden room in Svt Stronghold either when noclipping around.

Thank all of you for the constructivr comments i will take everyones comments into account if i decide to release further versions of the map, and also if and when i make a new map.

I thought the map was actually quite good, i have no idea how to make maps etc so i didn't pay close attention to textures. The multi-coloured room with the numbers was quite annoying but still it was kind of a nice challenge for the eyes :shock: I got into the secret room but with god mode on, i don't know where the triggers are to turn the death barrier off in the pit. I did notice that u can pick up one of the brick blasters through the gate if u walk up to it :P The final bounce in the first room was a pain in the arse imo, i can see it causing blockages, i can also see a lot of the newb jumpers not even being able to reach it XD

Granted, some of the mapping wasn't great, and having floating platforms isn't realistic, but I found myself enjoying it.

:/ thanks guys, i am finding loads of problems with it causing blockage in public maps, i think i might be in you best interests to remove from servers. I have started a new project. I have taken all of your feedback and am putting all of those things in to my new map "mp_prison_jump". Hopefully will be out with a couple of months.

That's how most maps are like, some people get stuck on some place and they block, dont let this piss you off and remove the map, this map is ok, let it be.
