punkbuster help please

well i wanna know if this is possible to fix....whenever i join a server using punkbuster for the first few minutes of the game it will give me really annoying lagg spikes it will stop after a while though...they do come back after a little while...i have heard that it is caused by a new punkbuster update and it has sumin to do with pnkbstrb.exe i have tried completely reinstalling.and it didnt fix it anyone know how to fix?
