Call of Duty, bounce fix?!

Well... recently I was in a CoD:WaW devmap listen server, and was playing around with some dvars...
Then, I changed one, and couldn't bounce no matter how many times I tried!

---

Someone's gotta test this too because it fixes bouncing altogether for me!
Go into either CoD4, or CoD:WaW, and then do "/devmap mp_pipeline" or for CoD:WaW "/devmap mp_downfall", or any other good bouncing map, then do "/set jump_stepSize 0"... ( Enter only blue text into the console! )

Next, just try to bounce, and you won't. :P

Nope, that's jump_height, this is jump_stepSize.

Ah, well, thought I'd just let the people on CoDJumper know about this, if you really think you HAVE to, go ahead and delete. :/ (Suggesting that I'm not going to delete it)

I'm not gonna delete it - I'm wondering, what is the dvar for? Why is it in the game?

I'm guessing it might have something to do with the way the game moves the player when he hits an object. I really don't know, and not really interested in finding out why it works that way.
