Re: pc anygood for gaming???
first of all, u dont need that powerful powersupply. the CPU is ok, but i would go with an Intel and a quad core (Q6600 is highly recommended)

really need to find me a job so i can start upgrading it...
although, squeezing roughly 200 fps from my card is a feat in itself i think, and with r_fullbright 1 i can get 250 constant :O! so i'm happy

ATI Radeon 2400 HD Pro you can pick one up for about £30 now-a-days
you can pick one up for about £30 now-a-days i think i should sell my configs
i think i should sell my configs cause orginally i was running 20 - 70 fps on just about every game...
cause orginally i was running 20 - 70 fps on just about every game...
then i got into the whole fps = better gameplay thing if you look on my xfire i got css to 1000fps at loading, and it generally sits at 250+,
if you look on my xfire i got css to 1000fps at loading, and it generally sits at 250+,
on cod2 i can get constant just about everything depending on the map
and let's face it if i can get crysis running smoothly at 1024 x 768 on a £30 card on medium settings, i deserve a fucking medal

Lol, seriously, NO ONE uses that word. I've never heard anyone say it in normal conversation. It's just something Steve Irwin used to say that created a stereotype.jimbojetuk wrote:we believe you

Re: pc anygood for gaming???
I really didnt notice the little raise in the tone of australians voice.
It reminds me of family guy jillian (brians girlfriend)(i tried finding a video and looked for a while but couldnt find anything
Stewie: Alright Brian, you can do this. You can dump her, because once it's done, never again will you have to listen to her talk like this? You know, where everything has a question mark at the end of it? With an upward inflection? At the end of every sentence?
Brian: Yeah, I don't know what I was thinking? Oh dammit, now I'm doing it too!
