I NEED REALLY HELP

OS couldnt find my 9800GTX Plus

directly after push the Power-button theres a message like: 9800GTX+ 512 MB PCIe

...now in OS it found VGA-Standard-Card. But if i try install a driver for the card it couldnt find any Hardware(tried 4 drivers also from Original CD)



Here the things i exactly tried and which doesnt work

- 2 different Mainboards: Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3 (rev. 2.1) &
ASRock 4DualCore-VSTA (only have PCIe 4x but thats not a reason why Windons didnt find)

- OS: New & fresh Windows XP SP3 and also Vista Ultimate (all x86)

- Bios Update for the GigabyteBoard(complies any requiment of the Card)

- four different Nvidia-Drivers(also the one from CD and the newest alpha Driver)

- changed different Bios-Feautures wich contained PCIe

- install driver at debugmode of Windows (deep google research)


2 Interesting thing i found are: Card doesnt have 2 6Pole Power supplies(But i checked the Net i looks true...oO
DXdiag show (only) Chiptype: Nvidia


Now my current system:

Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3 (rev. 2.1)
Intel Pentium D 805
Some IDE ... just HDD and DVD
a not working PNY 9800GTX Plus 512 MB PCIe
2GB DDR2 Ram


Too bad i dindt have an own PC Store to test all components...please help me...maybe an idea

did u connect BOTH powerconnectors (???) at the card ?

Anywhere i read the same...didnt see 2! I see just the 6pole...where the hell is the second

a possible thing is: the 12V line have not enough power (ampere)

check your power supply or try to bind two 12v lines with a y-cable to one and connect so the gfx card ?!?
