Are these specs good enough for WaW? Whats the max fps you think I'd get?

I appreciate any help. Thanks

well the laptop has got a geforce 8200 so it is a onboard graphics chip and I doubt this will let you play world at war properly - some benchmarks I have seen it reaches barley 12fps with an X2 4200+ on cod4 low/medium 1024x768

OK, what allows for higher fps, is it the graphics card?

Any recommendations

- They generally have on board graphics (major issue)
- They have issues with heating
- Tricky / near impossible to upgrade them at a later date (in terms of graphics e.t.c)
- Any 'gaming' laptop is generally VERY expensive compared to the pc equivalent, and still won't be as good.

For high FPS you need a fast machine basically, and a GOOD dedicated graphics card is a must. You can build a reasonably high end gaming PC for £500-600 these days.
I know a friend who has a £1500 laptop, dual 8800GTX's and everything. his system is pretty flawless to say the least.
