not 100% sure on this, but i think that the effective knifing radius is too large.
i get killed a lot when people just randomly shank the air next to me and actually end up hitting me, and i can randomly do the same and kill other people.

it could be lag, but it has happened a bunch of times.

I've found the knife glitches and misses when it should hit more than it hits too often

It's funny that the CoD4 Rifles Mod has better rifles than CoD5
