Ok this happened to me and what happened was i installed it easy then i went to click on it and it had an error message to do with the d3dx9_37.dll not being found so i googled it and found solution it is something to do with directX.
Here is the link, dont worry it is microsoft and please use this if i only u get this error message
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/deta ... laylang=en
Once u install it and its done its thing click on the CoD:WaW icon and enjoy the Beta
Admins or Moderators i suggest putting this as a Anncounemnt or Stickey

Re: Error with CoD:WaW Beta
I had simular problems with FarCry and Brothers in arms Hells Highways, but slightly differant 3*.DLL's i downloaded them and put them into system folder, and they now work...
It's either a DirectX problem like you say, or a corrupted install file when installing.
