CoD2 Rules the same like CoD4 ?

I had starting again with CoD2 jumping and looked many videos. in this videos they used many nades for jumping. Is in CoD2 not the rule max 3 nade and no dieing ?

I would make a movie with CoD2 jumps because here on the site are nothing like the many CoD4 clips
from jumping. :(

question:
is it no matter how many nades i use in a jumpserie (leningrad need sooooooo much..... ) ?

It is a rule that a jump needs to be done with only 3 nades, if demos on the site show more nades. Then it is probably because you can get at the spot after nade 1 for example, without using nades.

I find this an useless rule, because why shouldn't I show a nice Jumpserie, which isn't possible in a normal server (where nobody would do it), but in a Codjumper one? Cheesy and me are making a video of many stockmap jumps/jumpseries, and we sometimes used more than three nades in one serie, since we combined much of them.

We didn't use to in previous games, but maybe it's worth accepting them and putting a message in the description such as "Note, x RPGS are required for this jump and consequently it is not possible on most public servers"

All demos have been made with the intention that it's possible to use in a public server. So if you used 3 nades (or 2 RPGs in CoD4, dunno how many in UO) you can't use a 4th since it would be impossible to do (Unless you can find a way to do the first nade without a nade, leaves 1 extra forl ater use). The CJ mod is just a mod (Or the 999 nade mod). We should stick to that.

i have a jumpserie there are needed 4 nades -> 2 players jumping and use 2
nades ( both jumper have 1 nade remaining ) -> player ONE kill player TWO and take his last
nade -> player ONE have now 2 nades for use -> jumpseries with 4 nades are possible :mrgreen:

it is the same like the stacking in CoD4, you need only enough player and you can reach every spot :wink:


an error in my theory ? I think not 8)

Well...we're just showing what is possible with 125fps in a codjumper server. If the jumps are possible in another server ins't interesting for us. That's our opinion. I hope you guys will like it anyways.

Sure go ahead. But CJ is based on the fact if jumps are possible in NORMAL standard servers.

thedude, it is possible to do the leningrad series of jumps with only 3 nades... if your talking about the same thing i am, then you should be able to make it with only 3 nades

i mean the jumps in the broken houses, so i now there are 4 nades to come to the first broken house needed..
the jump on the wall at the middle house, the jump from pole to pole, the jump from roof to roof and finaly from the roof to the first broken house ....

You don't need a nade for the 3rd one (chimney -> wooden rooftop), but there is no way to do all those broken houses without a nade I guess.

EDIT: I did the serie again, and you need at least 4 nades! There are different ways, but there's none with less than 4 nades. What a pity :(
