Mod Suggestion

well its just a suggestion.

I know its not allowed but it does makes jumping alot easier. I'm talking about the command: /statgetindvar 1 r_fullbright.
This gives u a massive FPS boost ( atleast, for me it does about 50 / 80 ) and i think lots of players would come to the server, instead of own server ( more FPS ). This command isnt possible since PB updated it. Mayb u guys could make a mod to make this command possible. I know my english isnt perfect but i hope u guys can understand it ^^.

Yes but whether not I ntroduce that, PB is not being turned off >.>

It is only possible to force a DVAR on, but some people do not want it on, so although it may be a useful feature to some, it is not being added, sorry.

PB isnt on server 3... And fullbright works

Doesnt work anymore on 1.7... so fullbright on CJ server i think would be a good idea :d with that i can get 333, without i dont even get 250 lol.

(and fx_enable 0 helps FPS alot too)

I'm not sure it's possible to overwrite PB in that respect, and we need PB running for the CJ Mod to work.

Couldn't you guys allow commands like fx_enable 0, r_fog 0,r_fullbright 1?

They are cheat protected, by the game executable, I can FORCE those cvars on people but it will never happen.

isnt it possible to have some cheats on and not others ? cause on some zombie servers, u can put thirdperson on, and not \god \noclip etc...

Guess not.. Everyone here just said it cant be done.. It cant be done that way with vote either, so I highly doubt its possible.

Some things can be done, but it requires creating menus and I not only do not like making menus, I do not feel they are necessary, we have done without forced cheats for about 4 years, why start now?

Because uptil now, people have been using the statgetindvar bug to use things like fullbright,
