I kind of love doing that in CoD4 aswell, as not many people know about this bug :D

You can easily rush and avoid enemy nades by wallspeeding, and sometimes you can take out the entire enemy team! :D

It couldn't be that good, I don't recall it at all...

Stronghold ;)

Don't you gain even more speed if you look slightly away from the wall?

it was only the best jump map in cod2 (except maybe castle and lev_facilities)

I usually do about 40-45 degrees when I do it.

I like the movie, but as the others said, ur not using wallspeed to its fullest.
Looking away a bit makes u jump even faster (I think), but it deffinately helps to make u jump futher.
Also at the last 2 jumps u rotate 180 degrees, why is that? since that is probably the most ineffective way to use it.
And maybe you couldve shown the effect on gaps too, to show how effective wallspeed really is.

Offtopic: soviet_stronghold was idd the best cod2 jump map together with facilities (untill pipeline was released that is :P)

ìf you look away too far you won't each the most jumps as you will lose your speed. For most people this angle is about right :)

And the 180 degrees was just showing off xD

Also stronghold is indeed a very good map. If we tryout in unreal.jumperz this is one of the maps we use finish < 20 minutes :D

Looking away too far isnt good idd, but 20-25 degrees is best (when jumping with it)

Indeed, But it teaches the basics too people. Know we have to force ppl watching it.

Now I need to make a strafe jump tutorial. Ok I need some good 125 jumps from you ai and some good 250 jumps. Don't care whoever does it though, record it on pipeline hard :P

We have to teach them to jump :D

I'll edit the movie and put in creds.
