Video Capture on COD4.

Post by steveuk » February 26th, 2008, 7:03 pm

whats the best option to capture video on COD4, apart from do it as a DM_1 file,
I tried FRPAS, but it saves it as 600+ megs for just over 1 minute of recording, even if i convert that i still get over 50-meg, plus FRAPs seemss to be well out in the sound Sync.

So what the best program to use to capture on COD4 and save as a Avi file.. Semovision also dont work for me

/cl_avidemo 30
which makes 30 screenshots a second. Then there is a program which can convert those screenshots into a movie file (dunno the name of the program, but im sure someone else will tell you).

Record demo, use the above command while watching the demo.
then find a program which joins jpgs in AVI
If you want ingame sound, then maybe find a sound recorder (maybe the built in, M$ one works?), or simply add your own music.

with virtualdub ( http://www.virtualdub.org/ )
i would prefer cl_avidemo 25... but the avi file will be as big as the avi file from fraps... u must edit this file with sony vegas or windows movie maker for example and render it to make it smaller...
