I don't like shoutboxes, they're so pointless. If people want to spam each other, they can do it off the forums, otherwise their topics are just going to get deleted (like I deleted a few of the stupidly pointless ones today).

Here's a little suggestion, if you want the shoutbox to be used more put it at the top of the page(below navigation menu) not the bottom.

The topics are more important then the shoutbox so makes more sense to have the shoutbox below the topics.

I think the same way as hoogie about this. It's better if the shoutbox is below the page and not above.
