spawn world . . .

hey m8s :D i made a new map (nooby, first one i make!) & when i wanna put spawn world, i hope i'm putting it in the right way! i get an error: Can`t create an entity with worldspawn
wtf is the problem? :D

oh, i forgot 2 ask another thing :oops: when i put skybox, lets say i chose sky/mp_carentan, in the 3d window i see it in red, as i read in modsonline.com, there r some missing files i didnt copied, what r they so i can see the skybox from radiant immediatly? :)

Worldspawn are values for lightning in youre map. So you dont need them to spawn the players. What you need to do is just select one brush of the skybox and put the worldspawn settings in there

Now for the skybox. Thats normal. If you compile everything wil work fine.

well ive mapped in cod 2 , this is how i do it.

1) first create your skybox.(if you dont know how to do this read a tutorial.)
2) Press esc to deselct your brushes.
3) Select one side of your skybox (top, bottom, or a side)
4) Press N to bring up the entity box.
5) It should pop up on worldspawn. If not you havent followed the instructions you must have done it wrong..
6) On modsonline there is a tutorial on the worldspawn settings. Simply add the values and keys, and find the settings that are right for your map.
7) add your spawns and an intermission.
8) i think thats it
