A bit more publicity

Post by Coontang » March 29th, 2007, 8:18 pm

Hi, im getting a little concerned abut th amount of p[eople still interested in codjumper. I can only think of about 16 people off the top of my head. I think codjumper needs MORE publicity. Like im an active member (agree? :D) But when i log on the most people looking is 10 maximum. Lots of guests, maybe 5 registered tops. Im not sure, is codjumper meant to be like a small community, where everyone knows EVERYONE? Or could it be a bigger community? I would like some opinions please. To say that 103 people were browsing at one time, this is far too low in my eyes.
EDIT: Dont get me wrong, alot of people may like it like this, but i think it needs some more. I could spend about an hour with no new messages to read. I know that aint too bad, but it could be more i think? Dont start flaming me if i sounds stupid please

We welcome anyone that likes to come and see what tutorials/videos/maps we have to give. It's true that codjumper is dying out a bit but it has its ups and downs. So yes, this is a community for everyone that is interested in jumping, sadly, not too many people are. :(

This is tragedy....

Its wierd...the jumping is THE best bit about the games.......

Is there anything we can do to get publicity?

I mean, who out of us all would want even a teensie bit more action? Im guessing many. :D

Lots of people know about it, but pretty much their only interest are the demos.

Indeed, the peak of the forums have passed. We're not gonna beat around the bush and say we're still as popular as we were, say, a year ago, but we're still going strong with around 600 visitors per day to the site. The forums are less active, but most of the important people are still around and we all enjoy the company. Maybe when the next game comes out the forums will increase in popularity a bit and things might start to pick up, but until then we've got to improve the site to encourage more people to come to the site and stay on it.

Hey on the 'next call of duty' topic, im not sure if my system will run it so i might not be able to jump. :x But i will be very active on cod, uo, and cod2.

Does anyone know the expected system reqs of cod 4? If it isnt too demanding i might just make 76 fps.....but thats a big IF....

I have a geforce 6600 v, sempron 3300+ @ 2.01 ghz, and 1 gig of ram. Thats enough maybe for on medium grafix at 1204x768?

Anyway, cod, uo , and cod 2 is good enough for me.
