Technically drofder, smiley faces are not part of the English language. Since there are no official english rules in place for internet communication involving these smiley faces, you cannot logically back up your argument using grammar. In the english language, a " :P " does not represent a face with a tongue, it represents ": P" which is absolutely nothing. Therefore, go fuck yourself. :P

How can an image represent a combination of characters. the characters are representations of the images, or better yet, representations of the "emotions" viewed in those images.

We are on the internet, so internet grammar rules apply. Sentences can be ended in the follwoing ways:
- Full-Stop (Period)
- Question Mark
- Exclamation Mark
- A smiley face
- The word 'lol' (certainly not a favourite :P)

By the way, capitalise the word English you moron

(btw, it took all of 10 seconds to find a post with the word "english".
