It's because it was so surreal, almost seemed like it wasn't happening.
I remember going to a lesson after lunch and the teacher telling us that a plane had crashed into the world trade centre (I didn't even know what the WTC was tbh), and then when I got home I just sat and watched for ages. Was when I was in year 8, so I will have been 13/14, still reasonably clear in my memory.
Personally I don't find that movie funny, it's taking the piss out of a situation where a large number of people died, and a large number of firefighters died in an effort to save others, I think it's shameful that someone would mock that.

Good post. You have pathetic people everywhere. They should put those 16 years who made that movie into a collapsed building.Pedsdude wrote:It's because it was so surreal, almost seemed like it wasn't happening.

I'll explain my view on why I can laugh...Soviet wrote:ill explain
i laugh cause i honestly have no respect for human life. throughout all history we have been fucktards and destroyed the world and ourselves. Basically, i have more respect for the poor helpless squirrel lying dead on the side of the road than that asshole who ran over it.
firstly, death is not a laughing matter, but laughing at its expense is. how many people can honestly say they did not laugh at a Steve Irwin joke?
Then how many people cannot say they have not been amused by a racist joke, seriously (you do not have to support the means of a joke, to actually be allowed to laugh at it).
How many people have not laughed when someone jokes about a handicapped person?
How many people have not been involved in joking at anyone elses expense?
This world has become to "PC" and too much of a "nanny" culture, where we are told what we should and should not do.
------
People need to lighten up, maybe I should get some extremely immoral jokes for us to laugh at
