let me explain something to you marshall. The rules haven't changed. When you left people didn't spam, and now that you come back, people don't spam (of course there are a few exceptions for, some of which i realize i cause and im sorry for, but mistakes happen). Respect to those whom serve you still exists, i had to delete a pointless topic by you as well.

When peds comes back from a trip or being away, yes he may make quite a few posts, but all of them are meaningful, either important to the forums or educated/philosophical points. Though these topics may have been dead for a few days, he provides a positive contribution which can trigger an innovative conversation. What you have posted has almost always started spam, just as right now.

I, as a cj helper, have a duty to uphold to keep the forums as clear of spam as possible, lock topics which no longer have a meaning, and to delete pointless spam. Everything I have done concerning you since you have returned is not out of any specific hatred or dislike, it is simply following what a cj helper does. If you cannot respect the rules and respect those who help keep these forums clean, then i suggest you should "stfu." I have much tolerance, and a sense of humor, but even i do not spam as pointlessly as you when i spam.

Of course I am not saying that you are a complete sir spam-a-lot, you have said meaningful or somewhat useful things, but think before you post. If you think that what you are posting might be idiotic or absolutely pointless to any purpose, espcially when starting a new topic, then do. not. spam.

consequences will result if your spamming continues, if you want to spam start your own forum.

i think im uber cool? no. i think a have a duty to tell you to shut the fuck up if you're spamming nonstop? yes. I do not see why you should question what spam is Marshall, you have so easily mastered the concept and have implemented it into several useless topics which were deleted and ever post you have made in this topic. I do not question your right to post simple, useless things even as simple as "lmao" for a post, or "omg thats funny, hahahah...." But when a topic appears talking about Jurassic Park 5 when there is NO JURASSIC PARK 4, and Jurassic Park 5 is clearly explained in the first sentence of the other topic with the same name, i have a problem. If you want to talk about something in general chat, if it relates to anything having to do with something material that is not commonly discussed on the forum and known by every active member, provide a link, otherwise then it is spam. A useless heap of crap which does nothing but waste the bandwidth of this website.

Oh, and droffy, freedom of speech is majorly limited in america (ie: people under 18 dont have free speech and even afterwards you really don't) so i think it is fair that the restriction on general section can be NO SPAMMING just like the rest of the forums....and in america we call em purses.

Freedom of speech is there for whoever is willing to take it.

Freedom to spam is something that is something that should not be abused, but spam is something people are free to do with moderation.

We are all guilty of spam, and if you do not think you are, you are wrong.
This is starting and unwanted war, and I personally (not as a moderator) would prefer if everybody would refrain from posting any further in this thread, this is not an order, just a simple request, and that is why the thread remains open.

i agree that people should stop posting, im just trying to make it clear to marshall that he needs to stop spamming so much, it is in no way contributing and only causing more work for the admins.

ok, so you obviously take being a codjumper helper so seriously, get a grip soviet, being a forum moderator isnt a career, no need to get youre knichers in a twist everytime someone posts something.

Im starting to think you come on this forum with the objective of using youre forum moderator powers. stupid.

And you seem to be so twisted in this whole spam thing, just lighten up a bit.

i also think youre pretty gone in the head, to think that you should lock a topic when it has a valid arguiment.

Plus the fact that, soviet , you seem to reply to everything someone says (within constraint) which could quite possibly be classed as spamming, and even posting something on a forum, seems to be, in ure eyes spamming.

And also, if you have a long and hard think, when people speak, they dont necessarilly speak with reason, they generally chat sh*t to eachother, and a forum, is my eyes is another way of talking to one and other, and discussing and so-on. So you cant seriously be saying that, in a general chat forum, we are not only aloud to chat random crap, but also not aloud to chat alot. Because apparently now chatting alot is spamming, "a post count boost", but im sure by using this forum as communication, people are supposed to talk and chat alot, and when someone comes and joins a forum, and chats alot, keeps up to date, and even replys more than the usual member, you seem to think this is spamming. Now dont give me this shite about creating useless topics, because i have everyreason for creating those, and its people like you (soviet) that are ignerant. By creating a topic, lets say for instance, called "hahaha", this doesnt mean its spam, it merely states that that member finds a certain event funny, and either wants to share that or make others aware that they find it funny. For example if i was to sit infront of a television with you (soviet), and we were to watch a comedy sitcom, and you were to laugh, i wouldnt tell you that ure annoying and luahging too much (e.g spamming), but i would merely laaugh with you, or if i had come into the room, when you were laughing, i would most likely ask you why you were. So joining a topic when someone is laughing, isnt necessarly a spam post or topic, but merely a group discussion, or rather the start of one.
