Getting killed when trying to reach places

ok, this has been bothering me for quite some weeks now.

I can do the jump but when I want to jump on the roof I die, I simply die. I reinstalled CoD2 a few weeks ago and I downloaded nothing but still, I die... I tried to sort this out but nothing happends.

And it's not only on Carentan, it also happens with tons of other jumps. God mode doesn't help either and when I try to get there with the noclip command and want to turn it off again it gives me a message that I must be alive to use that command.

Help is greatly appreciated although I seen this matter before aswell.

Thats a really stupit fix in cod2 v1.3. Instead of placing a clip they place a trigger ore somthing there. You can also dont do that tank plant in carentan. Also fixed.

Heres a mod u can run on ur server. This will disable the 'die area's'.

Curses, so it seems that they are simply blocked and it's not just me

Basicly most jumps have become impossible that way...

And the people from my clan don't favor jumping so I'm affraid that link is of no use to me, thanks anyway

Is it possible to run my own server which I start up in CoD2MP to disable those triggers ?

yeah, just put that in your main and click on start new server in the cod2 mp main screen

or you can go on my server. Inetpubs jump server. Its got the no hurt mod running when you go on stock maps.

In the recent patch they added hurt areas to stop people getting on roofs and out of maps. Some areas are still free, but a lot of the main ones (most noteably Dawnville roof) have been 'fixed'. There's not much we can do about it really

'Officialy' most jumps on CoDJumper for CoD2 are impossible on servers who don't have any mods running.
