Can you explain how this was done?

thats pretty simple actually, im not sure exactly how its done, but it would be a rollover video on a timer where after a certain amount of time it gives a command for the mouse to disappear

Yeah, with flash programs, like what the link gave, you can hold tab to see the trigger boxes, you can see that there is a trigger box around his face and after some time of playing the video it makes the mouse dissapear.

unbelievably easy tbh

(it helps having basic flash knowledge)

A button is placed over his face. The button has an "event", the event in this flash is a "mouse over". So once your mouse is "over" the button an actions is performed, in this case, he moves his face.

While your mouse is over his face, it starts a timer... if you are still there once the timer is finished, it hides the mouse and plays another video...

I thought it may be something like that but wasn't sure. I only took a few courses in Webmaster design many years ago and vaguely remember doing something like that.
