AS level exam results!

Got my AS level exam results today (for those of you who aren't English or don't know what they are, they're important exams that can decide what university you get into to a large extent).

Anyway, I got the following results:

Maths - A
Further Maths - A
Economics - A
Physics - A

A is the highest grade you can get in A levels, so don't go saying I wasn't good enough for A*!

Of course, had I gotten bad results I wouldn't had made this post rofl.

Why are you doing further maths? If you complete Maths, the university will not even bother looking at further maths because it is not much higher level than GCSE (hence further maths and not "A level maths").
If I was you I would drop it (I would imagine if your school said the same as everyother school I spoke to, you will be dropping 1 as level).

How comes you didn't do ICT, imo that is probably the biggest most widespread course, although what you learn is boring and pathetic

As for your results, congratulations, you're the third smartest person I know, the first being a lucky bastard who got a scholarship to Eton >.< (If you dont know what that is, its the school that royal people and very rich or priveleged people go into, although the uniform is fucking hilarious)

lmao yes I know what Eton is

ICT wasn't an option at my school, probably because we're too up-market for it or some bullshit like that

We're theoretically meant to drop one subject when we move to A2, but I'm planning on continuing all four!

Anyway, for those who want to know more, here are my MARKS:

Did you have other options of classes Like for example Shop Class?
Sorry, This is a different culture to me and I do presume that what you want to do post secondary schooling requires some to all of those classes, but it's not as varied as I'm used to seeing

Is that for students who they believe to have no other skill in life but to work in a shop?

Nope, just 'normal' options: Maths, Geog, Phy, Economics, Bio, Chem, Psychology, Philosphy, Art, French, Spanish, German....

Hmm, maybe if I went to school in England I wouldn't have gotten into a skilled trade
But then I would have paid big money to go to school for several years

And I like being almost 22 and making $20 an hour with only room to go up, or get fired
But serisouly, I would love a different job some days
And good job on the marks, being smart and motivated enough to do something with it take a lot of work

red...do you have home economics classes there too? haha I certainly hope they've stopped that sort of class by now but I do remember shop class.....what fun that was!! Learning to be a carpenter or mechanic is a good skilled trade to get into.

Thats what shop class is?

Since when did knowing a trade such as being a carpenter/mechanic have anything do with a shop? Over here they are simply called either "technology", or if you choose a more exact class, you can choose "Wood-work, Metal-work, Textiles, Graphics, Resistant Materials (mix of wood/metal/plastics)...
