I believe it can be done, but you will need knowledge of the UT engine.

^^ That has info on UT mapping/scripting.

I've tried UT mapping before, it's pretty hard (or maybe that was just because I was 13 at the time?). You have to kinda cut areas out of a solid block and add bits back in if you get what I mean, rather than start with an empty area and add things. As with scripting I have no idea, although I did play the game for over 1 year

They have some excellent videos in the downloads section called Unreal Technology. And the team have already had a huge book called "Mastering Unreal Technology" published. If you want to know about mapping and modelling in Unreal then you have to get this book.

In the meantime .. jump over to their site and check it the videos.

P.S. the team also did all the video tutorials that came with the Editors Edition DVD of UT2K4 ..... and we suspect that Epic have asked them to do something UT2K7. We already know that they are writing two new books for the next Unreal Engine ;)

I don't really play UT nowadays, so I wouldn't really spend any time mapping on it when I have CoD maps to complete.
