They might have deserved to win the match, but they never deserved to win the tournament.

yep thats correct ai ...in my opinion both teams played like noobs yesterday ... the real worldcup winner is GERMANY

ps. italy owned france ? lol italy are just lucky guys ... the way they played in this world cup was just S*** !
the only highlight yesterday was the zidane headbut :lol i dont wanne know what this materazzi guy said to him

England deserved to win followed by Germany, but as always we are cheated out of tournaments... but thats another story which I could ramble on about all day...

Deserving to win and actually winning are always 2 different things, Portugal had 60% possesion against germany, and they still got their arses whipped. The stats of the Germany-Portugal match show that portugal "deserved" to win...

the winner will be the team who can stick it out and score the goals that count, and thats what Italy did.

As for the Zidane incident, the Italian player did take a good grip of the guys stomach/chest (not nipple

) but thats football, it happens more than you see, its not violent conduct but it isn't allowed... what Zidane done was very unprofessional, but he didn't care as he wasn't going to be a professional football player after the match anyways...

The reason why zidane gave a headbutt was because one of the italiens were hugging him so he could not move durning a corner shot, after letting him go, the italian insulted him and said something about his family.

The ref didnt do a good job as well

Shame on the italy team. they did not deserve to win that cup, honestly, I dont think any of them should be proud for winning scince they cheated so much (pushing, bad acting, etc. etc.)

The ref done a marvelous job imo, very few mistakes.

He also allowed petty little fouls to carry on. If he was to stop the match everytime a player landed on his arse, a game with French and Italians wouldn't be moving for 5 seconds before another foul is given.

What ever happened to the "sticks and stones" saying, if you cannot take what someone says, you are in the wrong profession. In football, people are going to try and make you wound up, when people are wound up, people get unpredictable, and that headbutt was very unpredicted.

Football is a CONTACT sport, people are going to get pushed, people are going to be taken out from bad challenges and late tackles, that is what football involves. Professional players know this and I can guarentee Zidane has done his fair share of abusing players and undetected foul play.

I don't feel sorry for the French in anyway, the winners are the Italians, and they won because they outplayed France.

No matter how professional they are, they are also human.
If someone says something about, for example, a close familie member that just past away.
No matter how professional u are, you can lose urselve.
Allthough i dont know what mazeratti said

And no matter what materazzi said, it was a deserved red card.

Not all humans react the same way... I will happily laugh my way through an insult, if they cannot deal with insults, then tough, they deserve to be off the pitch.

In my opinion france played the match more like shit than the italians. The french should have known they needed to win before they got to penalty kicks or they were screwed due to the awesomeness of the italian goal keeper. They weren't near agressive enough (well at least in the context of not fouling and getting down the field to take shots) but overall it was a decent match (good footwork and such)

Cmon...You cant say who should win just by the % of their ball posession... If you dont score then eventually they will score... Its one of the simplest rules in football. imo if u have 10 chances and miss all of em and the other team has 1 chance and they use it then they deserve to win.
