That would never hold up as a valid arguement.

unless "given" permission, you are not allowed to do so. Acting on someone not responding is still illegal. IMO, post the design, and then we can discuss if we believe it is against any copyrights.

lol :P

Yes, as Drofder says I could still get in trouble even if I attempted to contact them and received no reply.

I was thinking of having a black t-shirt, with http://codjumper.com/images/cjbanner2.jpg on the front, and text saying "Yourname@CoDJumper.com" on the back (yourname being in white, but I didn't make it white here otherwise I wouldn't be able to see it with the white bg), so that people can have their t-shirt personalised. Any other ideas?

Hello,

That UK e-mail address is valid. They just don't have a public domain with the activision.co.uk address. Let me know what they tell you. You could also try e-mailing our legal department here in the US at legal@activision.com

Customer - 04/13/2006 03:40 AM
I sent an e-mail to support@activision.co.uk, and it turns out the mail domain does not exist. As a result I sent an e-mail to support@activison.com and have received no reply.

Hello,

Here is the UK support information. They may be able to help, but the main corporate office is in the USA.

For e-mail support please contact support@activision.co.uk or go to http://www.activision.com/support.

For any other issues not covered by our web or email support, you can contact Activision's phone support in the UK
on + 44 (0)870 241 2148 between the hours of 8.00am and 7.00pm (UK time) Monday to Friday with the exception of holidays.

Please note that Customer support is in English only.
Those are the recent developments. I will e-mail legal@activision.com with the original query and see if I get anywhere.

I'd much rather actually know whether I'm legally allowed to do it or not than get caught and have to pay the consequences.
