This day, I have achieved what few have hoped to achieve in their lives. I have achieved something much more than merely number. Yes, I have achieved a destiny that will follow in my wake for the rest of my life. Such achievements should not go lightly in the world, especially in the cruel unforgiving world in which we place ourselves within today. So we must look upon this achievement and realize the truth. This is not 100 posts, nor is it 999. It is not 1001, and not 500 either. Rather it is a number that is reached once in our lives, a number of solitude and gratitude. A solid number of hope and desire for all. We all hope one day to be in this position. This is not a day for one man, but for all. For we may all share the glory which this holds before us. So let us sit here in our chairs, staring at our monitors and say, we shall rise above the rest, we will reach a post count of 1000, and then we shall have achieved what this man today has achieved. And so my people I beg of you, do not look upon me as a superior, rather look upon me as a person who has stepped one further step in life, for I am still your equal, and you shall all be my brothers. I give thanks to all that made this seemingly inconceivable feat possible to me, and I vainly hope that one day we will all reach this number and stand together upon the hill...of 1000.
