Own Textures

Hey, i´ve watched some tutorials, but i still dont know how to! Can anybody say me how to create own textures? I know that you need the *.dds file, but i dont know how to create it. So please help! Thx

Need to have Adobe Photoshop and download the .DDS plugin/s at the above link. You also need to create the file as a square number (e.g. 128x128 pixels, 256x256 etc), and have "Generate MIP Maps" enabled.

Veeeery handy, and you doesn't need photoshop/etc for it :wink:

You can also use other formats like jpeg or tga if you make a shader script. I did that to make a glass texture once after reading this tut
